08/05/2024: We are excited that Samantha (Sam), PhD student in the EVMS Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program, is joining the lab! Sam just recently defended her Master`s Thesis and immediately jumped into a project characterizing the role of CXCL17 in prostate pathology. Welcome!
07/12/2024: We are happy to report that Thaissa is joining the lab as a research assistant! Thaissa has earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences in Brazil and her master's degree in medical research in Spain. We are lucky to have recruited her to benign urology research!

3/10/23 We are excited to welcome Kayah Tucker, MS graduate student, who will develop novel 2D and 3D models to study foam cell formation in the prostate!
Our study identifying foam cell formation in response to steroid hormone imbalance was published in the Journal of Pathology! (IF: 9.883)
Samara attended the annual CAIRIBU meeting in Bethesda, MD, where she presented her first poster at a national conference! Congratulations!
